Let's welcome our latest new registrants : irfan.
Welcome on European Experts Exchange (EEE.org), the one, the only one collaborative site for IT people from all over the world. Don't focus too much on the word "european", because it's mainly there to express the difference with a certain concurrent commercial site which proclaims itself "an American site for Americans" (sic).
The purpose of this multilingual site is to propose free assistance for all your classical IT problems : programming, hardware, networking, security, algorithmics, etc (the plain vanilla of IT :D) What you WILL find on this site : completely free site multicultural ambiance, guaranteed free of fascist admins the possibility to express yourself in the language of your choice a multilingual interface (bilingual English/French, and others are in due course) a free-speech area in mutual respect between peers a true community of peers where you can be insured to find rapidly good advices, if not an immediate solution a fast and smart search for solutions which enables you to benefit from the "knowledge base" of the whole Community. full access to all functions, without having to plea a sysadmin or to pay more the possibility to become a trusted user (by your own ***merit***) and thus to access some administrative functions or to the management of a given Zone (PHP, MySql, etc) the possibility to become translators, either for the interface, or casually for messages posted in one language only by others. Make the whole Community benefit from your multilinguism ! a powerful, fast and evolutive site compatible with all browsers complying with W3C standards (DOM etc) What you WILL NOT find on this site : advertisements filling in your screen (usually unless you pay to get rid of them, of course ;-) advertisement popups fascists managing a commercial site and despising all the rules of equity, fairness and democracy the obligation to express yourself in only one given language (say, English ;-), even if you don't master that language, or are writing to people that are your countrymen or that understand you. a "faster search"(sic) if you pay for "premium services" a "faster browsing"(sic) if you pay again costly "premium services" : everybody here on EEE has the same level of service (ie, the optimum :D ) spams or advertisements emails sent to you because the members file was sold to spammers slow and buggy JSP pages, and a snooty interface full of advertisements and vain auto-congratulation
If you are already registered with EEE, you probably already know where to click for "login" and "logout" ;-)
If you are not yet registered (it's free, of course) and you have a Question to ask or want to browse our knowledge base, then it's about time to do it by clicking here.
You will then be able to use all functions of our site (pardon me, of YOUR site ;-) Welcome in our Community! ) To ask a Question, nothing less complicated than :
- first of all, you've to be a registered user;
- then log in ;
- choose a Zone on the left menu, the one the most related to your problem. You have a Zone "don't know" for doubteous cases ;
- click on "ask a question" ;
- that's all.
