Hi there,

I want to ask you if you know a solufion for integrating credit card payment into my website although I am NOT U.S. citizen and have no merchant account.

I mean, I would like to get a so called "internet merchant account", but how? As far as I can see, there exist a lot of interesting offers, but for U.S. and Canada citizens only.

What can I do? I am from Switzerland :-)

Any idea? Or do you know a possibility for getting an internet merchant account for a swiss guy?

bad choice
international business accounts are STILL not available for PayPal
Too bad.
You should try opening a cyber-account in any of French banks, they all have viable solutions, and may-be open to international customers (although they may require you to open an account in the agency). The best being Credit Mutuel and (groupement des) Banques Populaires.

One possibiliti is E-gold. For this system it is possible to generate automatic payment module, so after succesful payment custom data is writte into MySql or email is sent for an example.
Minus is that users must have this account as well, and transfer their money to e-gold account before purchashing anything.

Depends on whether or not you want to have your own Merchant Account and the type of goods you are selling (and of course their margins).

I use www.pswbilling.com and highly recommend them. I do pay a 12% fee - but then they look after all billing, chargebacks etc...

Its incredibly easy to set up and get going and then when you are further down the track you can get your own merchant account.
