Hey I was wondering: is there a way to get the width and height of video files such as *mpg,*mov,*wmv ?? The script shall work like the following: Users are able to upload movies to the server, afterwards these movies will be viewable through a script with <embed src="" width="" height=""> code. Now, if i don't give the correct width or height the video will not show up correctly... Is there a php function (just as getimagesize) or a way around to get the information without asking the users when they upload? Also the control bar shall be viewable, no matter what format the video has. Thanks for any help! |

| IMHO, no. This is feasible by looking at the contents of the binary format, but I'm no expert at this on movies |
