Hello,

I have received a "new certificate" from our provider :

New files we received :
ETR8.crt
ETR8.crl
603416124.crt

Old files we kept :
PassPhrase.pwd
PrivateKeyWithCert.p12
603416124.sgn

I want to know which certificating authority issued the certificate.

Is there a way ?

On a unix machine with openssl: go to the diretory which has your certificates and type:

openssl asn1parse -in ETR8.crt

The information you are interested in should appear under one of the sections labeled :organizationName.

Alternately install them on a web server (live or test) and point your browser at that server. Firefox and probably IE can show you the information you require.
