does anyone know why ? I'm using the latest Mozilla Firefox 2 but the site displays equally bad when viewed in Internet Exploder the base URI is Microsoft's Windows Vista Home Page |

| Wait! I found why ;-) It displays "correctly" when in "compatibility" (quirks) mode. Even in 2007, Microsoft is not yet able to build a website that has at least basic HTML 4.01 (1997 ;-) requirements like a DOCTYPE, no STYLE tags in the BODY, valid javascript code, valid ALT attributes for IMG tags, valid META tags with a "content=" clause, SCRIPT with a "type=text/javascript" associated, escaped ampersands (&) in A HREFs, not even speaking of avoiding inadmissible stuff like NOBR, old-fashioned LAYER or outdated proprietary attributes on BODY tags and IFRAME, or ABSMIDDLE on the IMG tag ... don't they know basic CSS1 ? Even some TD colours are not valid (they lack the #, an error in the pure HTML 2.0 style of ten years ago). | I checked today the status of the issue : Microsoft's Vista Home Site is awfully slow, and is still as incorrectly coded as it was two months ago.
