Hi all, I guess most persons who have programmed web applications would have encountered this issue with AJAX but I need some kind explanation. Why do loops not work in AJAX? I mean that in the server script that is called, if some code that would work in a loop (like for(...) loop ), is put inside the script, it happens 2 fail. Why is it so and how can this be overcome? You can try this out if u have not experienced it. |

| Hi all, I must say this is both strange and interesting. For a long time prior to when I started this thread (or question), using loops in ajax server script was not working. Just recently I started to play with it again though this time, I took off the codes for the loop into a separate script file, included it into the main ajax server-side script and called the procedure. It worked like this and then bringing back the codes into the script again now works. |
