I am getting ODBC@127.0.0.1(using password: NO) when I am trying to log on to my server (via software), yet I can log in using a username & password I setup. Even if I setup my software to use the user -- I still get the afore mentioned error. What could be the problem?

127.0.0.1 in stead of "localhost" ? (would be surprising)

visibly, USING PASSWORD:NO means that you didn't supply a password in your ODBC call ! Check your program

VGR,

Thanks for the reply. Exactly why am I getting this error? I am not trying to use the 'user' odbc. Instead I am trying to use the user I log on to my system with. Is there a way to just turn off all logging -- so anyone could log in?

Thanks
