Hi,

Firstly, I am running Windows XP.

I have previously installed version 2.50 of myODBC.

I am now trying to upgrade to version 3.51.

I could not find find the uninstall file so I just went ahead and installed the 3.51 version.

But when I start the WinMySQLAdmin, it show that I still have version 2.5 installed, and the other thing is that version 3.51 shows on my Install/Uninstall Programs window.

Please help me by telling me how do I uninstall or de-register version 2.50 from my system.

Thanks

regarding that page, no instructions to uninstall except on unix...

Now why not try to reinstall the 2.5 driver to see if it now shows up in the Install/Uninstall Programs...

well, there must be a registered DLL or service somewhere.

perhaps looking into services.exe or in the %WINNT%\System32 for DLLs is enough... The DLLs must be named something like myodbcXXX
