Hi,

I have noticed some problems with the usage off sessions if used on other browser than Mozilla, and the computer that is used.

- In IE 6.0 I always receive a message "Warning: Page has Expired " when I try to go back (with the back button from the browser or if I use some code that re-directs the user to another page where the session is verified). If I click to go on, then I receive the page... Why is this and how can I solve this problem, because in fact the session did not expire yet!
If I use it on my computer, their is no such problem. If I use it at work, I receive this message...

Thanks in advance,
EDS

PATCH YOUR IE6 WITH SP1

there is no other answer ! (except a lazy proxy server)

IE6 is CRAP and isn't even able to render HTML code IE 5.01 and 5.5 were able to... Lamentable !

It could be caused by a form post. Are you sure it doesn't look like this?

"Warning: Page has Expired

The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button. "

yes, but not on a "back" action.

here, it's the cache-control HTTP header that is in cause. And also the fact that IE6 IS CRAP and completely ignores or misinterprets standatd HTTP stuff, like refresh rates, those cache settings, and also "suddenly" loses session (as if the "browser" 's instance had changed...)

IE6 is real crap, at least unpatched. A complete junkware, like NN 5 or NN6 (NN7 is fine, as is Phoenix/Mozilla Firebird 0.6+)
