Hello All, I have some source code in the Pascal, and i also installed the Windows 3.11 operating system on which Pascal Debugger can execute. Now i want to know some techniques in the Pascal debugging. Please give some information regarding this or give me some web address, where i can find the information. thanks |

| well, you'd better explain your bugs than ask for recipes :D debugging can take many forms : -tracing program executiion at the CPU level -stepping from line to line in the IDE (F7/F8/F4) while looking at some "key" variables being put as "watches" -making the program write a tracelog that you can examine after execution -running the program in all possible configurations until an exception/GPF/error occurs, then find the line where it occured, -etc |
