I´ve implemented a system using a databbase in Oracle 9i, but i`ve got problems because often the changes done in period of time are erased, exactly it looks like i´d restore a previous copy of the database, but i didn't. Any suggestion about this topic can help me. Thanks |

| hummm... first time I read about this. depending on the OS you run on, is it possible you've a cron (scheduled) task that does this kind of stupid thing ? or a network process ? (like if your dataspaces are on a file server) if - as far as you know - you run on a standalone server with no such interaction, then maybe you've in fact a transactional problem ? are your queries done in begin transaction...commit/rollback blocks ? does the problem also affect DDL queries ? (alter table, create table, drop, etc) |
