| Easy. Open your "device manager" (either by "My Computer"/rightClick/Manage" - "gérer" en français) or from the same icon, "Properties", then "device manager" in some sub-tab. Then look at the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers", expand the cross and look at the names in there : - the "Universal Host COntrollers" don't count, they come from your motherboard/chipset - you probably have some kind of "XXXX PCI to USB ZZZ Host Controller" where XXXX is a vendor name (Nec, Intel, SiS, VIA, Standard etc) and ZZZ can be either missing or "enhanced". If you see ZZZ="enhanced", you have USB 2.0, else it's 1.0 that's as simple as this. |
