hello Sir, Thanks 4 the disk utilities. Will soon start using them and will post my experiences soon. However, how can I set up my system to read 4rm a flash drive dat has been prepared as a boot disk? I made the following settings on system start-up only to get the prompt, Remove all removable media press any key 2 continue. USB FUNCTION FOR DOS ENABLED THUMBDRIVE SUPPORT FOR DOS ENABLED Prior 2 making these settings, the system could not read from the flash drive. What do u advice I do? Thanks and God bless ya. |

I later downloaded Hewlett Packard's USB format tool and used it to format the flash drive. It did boot 4rm the flash drive. This tool is really good. However, note that not all systems can boot 4rm flash drives. Only systems built to mordern specifications. |
