Hello VGR, I will give you a feedback soon concerning the upgrade problem (kernel corrupted). Recently, I upgraded a system from win 98 to xp sp1 and during upgrade I got 2 see dat the sound driver and the VGa driver had to be installed bcos of d upgrade. now dat xp sp1 exists on the system, I find it difficulty to uninstall the original win 98 sound and VGA drivers from d system, going to device manager and right-clicking the sound driver --> properties. but the dialog box has no provision for uninstall d drivers. the woorst of all is that windows xp and some other utility programs I use still report dat the drivers r installed and working even as we can't play sounds 4rm media player. Have tried all I can. How can this be overcomed sir? Ur Blessed man. |
